Gabriel Murray
Gabriel is an Associate Professor in Computer Information Systems at the University of the Fraser Valley, and an Affiliate Professor in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia. He teaches Data Quality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Distributed Programming as well as introductory programming courses. Gabriel received his PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). He is the co-author of the book Methods for Mining and Summarizing Text Conversations, one of the best-selling titles in Morgan Claypool’s Data Management series of books.
Heather Murray
Heather grew up on a broiler farm in Chilliwack, and has since studied English Literature and History at UBC and the University of Edinburgh. She has worked extensively in marketing, writing, and communications at businesses and not-for-profits. At Quality Fields, she does everything except the data mining, like book keeping, marketing, scheduling, and running errands.
